Magazine
The direct result of the schools’ efforts will consist
of the production of at least two magazines,
put together by the schools using materials produced
in the course of the project. One magazine, in English,
will be produced by the United Kingdom schools,
whilst another will be produced by the Italian schools.
10.000 copies of these magazines will be printed
and sent to all participating child ‘journalists’
and to all the children at the 30 schools.
Guidelines
The pedagogic team will produce, based on project
experiences, guidelines for future partnership activities
between schools from the North and the South. These
guidelines will be published on the project’s web
pages and in the teaching materials unit.
Online electronic presentation
An electronic presentation will be published on
the project web pages. This will contain an electronic
version of the editorial newsletter and a selection
of school materials that were not included in the
newsletter.
CD-ROM
A CD-ROM, produced alongside the electronic presentation,
will contain this presentation supported by other
materials (eg, photos, drawings, video and musical
pieces produced by the schools), as well as an electronic
version of the teaching materials unit. Some parts
will be immediately accessible to children, whilst
others will require some guidance from a teacher.
Teaching materials unit
The teaching materials unit will present the pedagogic
project and the guidelines developed by the pedagogic
team.
The Video
A 30-minute video (subtitled in Italian and English)
will be produced by specialists using video material
produced by the schools during lessons, archive
material and material filmed during the course of
at least two overseas trips. |
