The REDECCAP - Centre
of Co-operation and People's Activities - is a Brazilian
non-governmental organisation (NGO) with whom Cesvi
has been collaborating since 1994, carrying out projects
of self-development in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro.
It is a dynamic and flexible organisation, which uses
synergies and a networking system to organise autonomous
and independent economic, educational, cultural, video
production, juridical services and micro-credit activities.
It is one of the few NGOs that were created within a
favela, in Manguinhos, and made up only of favelados.
